30 Minutes of Oversleeping

Today I woke up at 6:30 AM.
Just 4 days into my routine, I overslept by 30 minutes for the first time.

The Reason for Oversleeping

Actually, there's a reason. Last night after work, I went to see my girlfriend for a bit.
We had dinner together and studied at a nearby cafรฉ.

To stick to my 10 PM sleep routine, I needed to be home by 9 PM.
But I couldn't bring myself to leave. It felt regrettable somehow. I wanted to stay a little longer.

In the end, I got home at 9:15 PM, and fell asleep at 10:20 PM.

Balance Between Routine and Heart

While maintaining a perfect routine is important, sometimes it's also necessary to listen to what your heart wants.
The 30 minutes of oversleeping seems to be part of the process of finding that balance.
